I was debating whether to go for the mini Photowalk called by Aravind or to crash Gapp’s home for the Croatia v/s Turkey match. Phone calls to Varun confirmed that Dhruva couldnt get the permission from Archeological Society of India to shoot inside Fort St. George and Chepauk Palace. So it was going to be Gapp’s place.
I reached his place at around 10 pm and soon Jump and Rajesh came. We had a look at his new Skate Boarding Video game which was like awe-f***ing-some! It was highly addictive and we were forced to stop as the skate board didn’t go easy on our heels. I even had to step out of the board in the middle of a race due to unbearable pain. I went on to finish the race using my hands!
it was then time for dinner (at around 11.30 pm) and Jump cooked some noodles and Gapp made some really delicious parathas. Then the kickoff and the match ws downright dumb and boring. But we were having our own fun making prank calls to PlaneMad, Vetti, Kaka and Sudhish Kamath waking them up at odd hours! Sudhish’s call was the funniest of it all! The other funny moment happened when we suddenly cheered for a verry close should-have-been-a-goal and then realised that it was the highlights!
More random talks about some of the common names we know, Jump’s notorious school, Akshay’s treasure hunt partner at Unmad and plenty of other stuff. The last 5 minutes of the match was spent with us jumping up and down and swearing away to glory. During the last 20 seconds of the match, we had orgasms!
The match ended and we moved to the terrace at 3.40 am and took some Star Wars ishtyle photographs.

Then we came down and there was a short film discussion between Rajesh, Gapp and a half asleep me. I dont know when i fell asleep, but I was rudely wakened by Rajesh when he sprayed shaving foam on my hand and cold water on Jump’s face. It was then Chennai Ultimate Frisbee and a breakfast at Murugan Idli Shop and back to Gapp’s place to play Snow Boarding. I made a whopping 26000 points in around 3 minutes while Gapp could manage a little above 8000 in the same time. Gapp! Nee innum valaranom! Complan kudi!
I returned home richer by a Spy Remote and a tripod head.
